Booking Blood Tests at Watford Hospital

The system for having blood tests at your local hospital has recently changed.

You can still have a blood test at Hemel Hempstead Hospital, St Albans City Hospital or Watford General Hospital. However, you will need to book an appointment for your blood test through the hospital’s online booking system, called Swiftqueue.

For patients unable to book online, telephone booking is available Tuesday to Friday, between 9am and 1pm on 01727 897376.

Please BRING the PRINTED BLOOD TEST REQUEST FORM(S) when you attend the hospital.
A printed copy of the request form(s) is available from our reception team.
Alternatively, the blood test request form(s) can be emailed or posted to you by our reception team.
Hospital phlebotomists will be unable to bleed patients without a printed blood test form as they will not know which tests are required.

For more information about having a blood test, view the Blood clinic patient information leaflet or see below.
